Is the barn heated?
No — it’s unheated, but it’s dry, shaded, and out of the weather. That’s what protects canvas, upholstery, and paint.
Can I get to my boat in the off-season?
Yes. Give us a day’s notice and we’ll have it accessible when you arrive.
Do I need to winterize first?
Yes, please winterize before drop-off. Since the building is unheated, water left in lines can freeze.
Is my unit insured?
Keep your own coverage in place — your policy follows your boat or camper into storage. We’re happy to provide the address for your insurer.
How far are you from Madison?
About twenty minutes west. Most of our customers come from Madison, Middleton, and Fitchburg.
How do I pay?
Check or card. Monthly, or the full season up front.
Are there set drop off or pickup dates or times? No, drop off and pick up is by appointment, but we are on site and can accommodate most times, seven days a week.
What is the maximum height and width we can accommodate? We can fit most boats, campers, and vehicles that fit through a standard garage door. 8’6″ wide and 7’6″ tall are our maximums.
What types of payment can we take? We can take cash, check, credit card, or bank transfer. You’re welcome to pay upfront or month to month.
Can I take my boat or camper in and out during the storage period? Sometimes. Although we are not a self storage facility, we can usually accommodate clients who want to take their boat or camper out for a late season trip or to get repairs done.
